lost love
TEARS ROLL DOWN HER FACE AND THE WIND BLOWS THROUGH HER HAIR, EVEN THOUGH HE BROKE HER HEART SHE WISHES HE WAS THERE, SHE\'S WALKIN DOWN A LONESOME ROAD WITH NO WHERE LEFT TO GO, THE LAST THREE YEARS WASTED ON A LOVE THAT GAVE HER NOTHING ELSE TO SHOW, SHE DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED OR WHERE EVERYTHING WENT WRONG, SHE\'S BEEN HOLDING ON TO A LOVE THATS BEEN FADING FOR SO LONG, SHE HAS A LACK OF JUDGEMENT AND OF CONFIDENCE TOO, SHE\'S FEELING SO LOW AND SO UNWANTED SHE HAS NOTHING LEFT TO DO, SHE CANT HELP BUT WANT HIM AND NEED HIM TO DRY HER TEARS, SHE REMEMBERS WHEN HE\'D HOLD HER CALMING ALL HER FEARS, HER FACE IS STILL SO RED BUT HER EYES ARE FINALLY DRYING, SHE KNOWS THERES NOTHING LEFT TO DO, SHE\'S FINSHED WITH HER CRYING, SHE KNOWS SHE CANT HAVE HIM BACK AND NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME, HER LIFE IS CHANGED FOREVER, AND SHE JUST HAS HERSELF TO BLAME. SHE HAS A SENSE OF RELIEF WITH THE GUN LYING IN HER HAND, QUESTIONS RUNNING THROUGHT HER HEAD, LIKE WILL THEY UNDERSTAND? SHE DONT WANNA HURT ANYONE BUT SHE DONT WANT PAIN LIKE THIS, HER HEART BREAKS WITH THE MEMORIES OF HIS KISS, LATER THAT NIGHT HER MOM WALKED IN THE DOOR, IT SEEMED SO ORDINARY UNTIL SHE SAW HER BABY LYING ON THE FLOOR, HER MOTHER'S HEART BROKE WITH THE FIRST LOOK, HER DAUGHTERS GONE, HER OWN LIFE SHE TOOK, A LETTER SHE HAD MAILED ON THAT DREADFUL DAY WAS RECIEVED BY THE BOY WHO'S LOVE SEEMED TO FADE, HE OPENED THE ENVELOPE NOT KNOWING WHAT HE MIGHT SEE, OUT FELL A PICTURE, ON THE BACK IT SAID MY LOVE AND ME, HE OPENED THE FOLDED PAPER AS HE SAT SHAKING ON THE BED, TRYING NOT TO READ IT, FEARFUL OF WHAT IT SAID, HE FINALLY GOT THE COURAGE AND THIS IS WHAT HE READ: |
