I hold onto what memories that I've got.
Your smile is the same.
But you don't remember my name.
I never thought I'd hear myself say it, but I miss the way you used to be.
I miss the way that you used to treat me.
Your my older brother but I still miss the way you used to be.
Risks were nothing to you then.
And soon enough you'll be at it again.
Back to kickin my teeth in.
Back to gettin underneath my skin.
I miss the music you played jus to annoy me.
And I miss the way that you would avoid me.
You would go all the way around the world to keep from sayin hi.
You would let the world go by.
You'd drink an MGD.
And make fun of me.
Just because I didn't drink with you.
Or because I didn't act like you.
I miss you man.
Your right there but your not.
And now I hold onto what memories I've got.
Pictures are your memory now.
I don't know why or how.
This all happened but your still alive.
Without you I think that my world would have died.
I miss you sittin in your truck with the music as loud as it would go.
I miss the smell of beer from the party that you went to.
I miss the cans of copenhagen.
I miss the bruise's that I got from you.

I miss the wild nights.

But that was a different time.
I miss how you wouldn't let anything happen to me.
Even if you didn't really like me.
You looked out for me...to an extent.
But you still made me hold up on my own.
