Misunderstood

by Semmie   Mar 17, 2006

Your hard look and your dark appearance

Your provoking personality

All a charade by withholding

Your one true identity

You believe to think that this mask fools me

For it doesnâ??t

I see past your transparent shell

I see whom you really are

But not yet can I see why you hide

Why you hide the real little boy inside

Maybe you decided you need change

Or maybe you protect the small, dying figure from the outside world

I found your alter ego interesting

And somehow I understood

Your masquerade is deceiving to most

But I see you as a misunderstood little child
