Life is a Flame

Life is a flame
burning bright
so everyone sees
your shining light

until the day
it no longer shines
because its smothered
could it b a sign

saying it needed more
more love more cared for
couldn't u see it dying
or were u not sure

my flame is dying slowly
and I'm not going to keep it lit
I'm letting it burn out
to take my life with it
