RUN FASTER

She burst through the house like fire crackers on the 4th.

left the screen door flapping in the wind.

she runs as fast as she can with no walls stopping her.

the rain is pouring, pounding on her broken body but she keeps running faster & faster.

memories of the past are rushing through her mind but she keeps going.

these words that caused her pain repeat over and over like a broken record that is powerless.

she is running, fighting for something that doesn't exist. still she falls to her knees begging him to take her back. so she doesn't have to hurt anymore but still he walks away. leaving her standing in the rain, broken and alone.

when he turns around thinking to say his final good-bye. all that leaves his lips is " run faster !! "
