Race does exist

by david kessel   Mar 17, 2006

The oafish pundits of political correctness,
Should wipe their in-between-the-ears wetness.
For some of them assert with clench-ed fist
That race is something that does not exist.

I beg to differ, my guilt-ridden friend,
Bent on a quick, societal amend,
It does exist, I've had its presence felt,
When I got flailed with a leather belt.

I felt its real-ness when beaten by a mob,
Or when I was refused a dainty job,
When dates became impossible to get,
Because of race and color, yes, you bet!

Wait till you get your pretty booty whooped,
When in a category you are grouped,
And then all kinds of crap will come on down,
When in you are in a diff' rent part of town.

So if you think that race does not exist,
Just come on down where I happen to subsist,
Where people are of diff'rent race and class,
And they will whoop your sorry little a**.
