Happy Days

Happy days have finally come my way
I've been having fun with my friends these last few days
I gave up on having a perfect day
But hey some days are better than yesterday
Tomorrow may never be the same as today
But at least I can say I've had a few happy days
No crying for me today
It all can wait until tomorrow
All my pain and sorrow can wait
Until the end of my happy days!

The feeling of high exuberation
My eyes light up
Like I have some kind of high
Can't stop laughing
It's like the feeling of running through the rain
Because today is a happy day

I fall down to the ground only because my sides hurt from laughter
Opposed to any other pain
I laugh the day away
Never wishing for the day to end so I won't have to go back to the tears and the pain that my home brings

I'll have to enjoy this happy day
Before it fades away
