As I Stood There Watching...

by naddles   Mar 17, 2006

As I stood there watching,
I couldn’t help but see,
My life, my meaning less life,
Soaring away from me.
Some good some bad.
A plethora of change.
Everything I thought I had,
Is now rearranged.
I had dreams, oh I had dreams,
Of becoming a wonderful star.
Now I just sit back,
And wonder who we really are.
I wanted a family,
One boy and one girl.
My son dressed in little suits,
And her in bouncing curls.
Now as I lay dying,
I have such regrets,
Of what could have, should have, would have been,
And I hope you never forget.
