You're really talented, you know that. I like your word choice and how you can take things from another point of view besides your own or maybe just as an unseen voice. And I especially loved these lines: |

This really hit home for me... I felt amazingly touched by this wonderful write. Sadness dwelled over me. A great poem, beautifully written! |

I'm lucky to never have experienced my parents divorce - and I feel so sorry for anyone who has - it must be a horrible experience. You've captured somebody elses view (Something I find very hard to do) brilliantly, and I really think this is one of those poems that just .. .works! |

Feeling sorry for you after i read this poem of yours. i jus pray that nobody experiences this bitter moment in life. on the whole, it is a poem well woven and meant for matured readers. as the poem advances line by line the poem creates a deeper impact on the reader as a parent and child. stay in touch. love, bhavin. |
From the angle of a child ... to the dreams of a father! Beautiful, emotional write. What a daughter wouldn't give to read these words when old enough to understand. Save and share! |
This is well written and very poignant. What I also liked (and I went back and read it a 2nd time) is how the emphasis really is placed on sadness; there's a distinct lack of a temptation to be judgemental. I like it. |
