All I Can Do Is Dream:

For now all I can do is dream,
dream of the days of you and me.
Wish upon star and hope that we will
be able to pull through all adversity.

All I can do is dream,
dream of life that once was so fine.
No worries and not a care in the world,
when everything was alright.

All I can do is dream,
dream that things can only get better.
That the worst is now behind and
there is a silver lining to each rainbow.

All I can do is dream,
dream that when this ordeal is
finally over; we will start afresh.
Together we will grow stronger.

All I can do is dream,
dream that all my worst nightmares
are gone, all the demons are vanquished
with the the coming of a new dawn.

All I can do is dream,
dream that my heart mends.
Friends who have stood by me will
stand the test of time, these
friends will be with me to the end.

    Beautifully written... I can see in your words that things are gradually getting better. Although this is a sad write, there is an ounce of hope floating in the air :) I like this poem a lot... A lot of emotion, a lot of truths and just enough hope to place a small smile on any reader's face. May your dreams come true my friend... Those friends shall be there!!
