April Snow

by Christy Trenholm Schmall   Mar 18, 2006

Snow falls down in great
White tufts of searing pain
Wet and vile
Weep for Juliet's magical vial
pray for the cowardice
to use the Happy dagger
surely it cannot bring as much pain as these April snows
then it will be as if
I'm standing alone
in the first season's snow
deep and quiet
cold and numb
Shhhh

I've not seen this one before Christy.I must say I am impressed. You definitely have your own voice/style.This is wonderfully written, it flows well and evokes sadness and beauty.I love the last line-unexpected and so fitting.
