3 Signs

I sit here talking to you
trying to find out what I should do
you try to set everything straight for me
you gave me lil signs as the day went on

First sign was the chain letter
it said all the things that satan wanted
all the things he wanted us to do
and the word that caught my eye was cheat

Second sign you gave me was the phone call
I felt so happy talking to her and still
and still I tried to ignore what you
what you were trying to tell me to do

Third sign was after all had happened
I started to think of what I had done
and then I got this paper and the person
the person that gave it to me said that you love me

Love makes you do so much
so much that I wish I could take back
but if only I had listened to the signs
then I would not feel this pain inside

So now I sit here in regret from what I\'ve done
and feel sorry for myself and the person I will hurt
the person I truly love and would die for the love of my life
so I stand before you now and say these words

Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner and cannot go to Heaven based on my own works. Thank You for sending Jusus to pay the punisment for my sins by dying on the cross, then rising to life again. I turn now from my sins and receive Chirst as my Lord and Savior. Amen.
