Unfortunate

by Allison   Mar 18, 2006

Darkness falls on the unfortunate
All they see is black
No one cares about them
Happiness is what they lack

We as people should help them
Why should they pay?
Why must we all forget
That could be us one day

Absolutely, short but speaks volumes, it flows well and the message is crystal clear. Well done x

How you cram so much goodness into such a short space?

Phenomenal this was no less effective than poems three times the length.

Strong message, very direct. Nice stuff..

It was short but that gave it more impact. I think the final line held the most. Normally, I'd say go into more detail, but I think this one didn't need any more than what it had.
