Stranger in her own home

by Ripple   Mar 19, 2006

She is so cold now like a stranger in her home
Quiet as a mouse as she silently roams
Pale and uninhabited as she moves from room to room
Feelings of emptiness as she sits alone on her stool
She can not rewind the tears
Or release the warmth... as it is covered by fears
Stranger at her table
Forcing food down that is almost stale
They love her so much.. shes throwing it to waste
For the family she once did love.. now that she hates
She has turned so cold
Now her moods and actions unsolved
Unpredictable and afraid
Of her thoughts that haunt her to date
Whats going on she hears the whisper
A brother slowly loosing his sister
She is not out at night like the others
She can not be trusted like her brother
She is only fifteen but is breaking down fast
For every lie... she tightly tried to mask
She does not know what she wants from life
As she had turned to pills and the knife
Seeking love from boys who are pricks
As she is a slag... with no boy who sticks
No one wants to take her in
As she is self destructive from within
Yes i give her that she is a teenager
She is home but is a stranger
As she has gone to far
Stabbing in the dark
Her final fight of breath
Has come to soon at present
She is only fifteen
Why cant any one just believe
She has not got any thing to live for
As she silently hits the floor
She destroyed her own life
So she picked up the knife
She indents the carpet with her weight
And finally realizes this was her actual fate
This is what she wanted... needed at most
Now she is still roaming from room to room ... but now she is a ghost
