For tomorrow it's You and I

by Kaizer   Mar 20, 2006

I'm sitting here on a bench
At the park I used to go
Facing me is the fountain
Where the water lazily flows

Around me are the trees
That gives this so cold breeze
Not far away is the see-saw
Where I see the playing kids

Couples passing by
Can't help but wish it's you and I
But then again I told myself
So very soon I'll see your smile

The sunshine begins to fade
And look just what it made
It gave way to the moon and stars
That looks so peaceful in its shade

But no matter how lovely this evening be
I still wish it's tomorrow's sunshine that I see
For when tonight is done
You and I will be in each other's arms.
