She Falls Asleep

She falls asleep
In an empty bed
Those last few words
Echo in her head

She closes her eyes
Against the pain
Never again will
It drive her insane

Clutching the pillow
She dreams of you
Forgetting the torment
That you put her though

She doesn't see
A reason to live
She's given you everything
She had to give

Softly she sighs
As her mind drifts away
Only in her dreams
Is she feeling okay

She wants a place
Where everything is fine
And so she falls asleep
For the very last time...
