She Sits There Waiting

by Mollz   Mar 20, 2006

All she hears is beep.beep.beep
She softly muffles a Sob
Shes doing better they say
but oh how they lie.
She would never get better
she wont wake up.
they tell her shes fine,
but she knows better.
Why did she have to go?
what did she ever do to deserve this?
the questions flowed through her head.
the beeps slowed down, the end coming near She stood up, and grabbed her moms hand. tears poured down her cheeks.her mother was slowly fading away, like a ship in the distance setting sail to sunrise. she was gone. not a moment too late. She fell to her knees, praying. all of a sudden, her mothers spirit arose, looked her in the eyes and said baby girl im ready, take me home. She grabbed her mothers hand, it had been terribly long since her mother had seen her, dead almost 20 years now.
