The Reoccurance...

by Mickayla   Mar 20, 2006

She walked along the corridor. Her many books piled up into her arms. Her pace slowed down to barely a crawl, her vision became hazy. She swayed back and forth; her books fell to the ground. Her breaths quickened, her heart raced. She shut her eyes, and collapsed.

She gasped and woke up with a start. Breathing heavily she looked at her clock. \'Only two am.\' She laid her head down on her silk pillows and fell asleep.

The halls were empty. As she walked her steps echoed. She heard someone behind her. Scared, her pace quickened to run. Her many books piled up into her petite arms. Her pace slowed down to barely a crawl, her vision became hazy. She swayed back and forth; her books fell to the ground. Her breaths quickened, her heart raced. A feeling of unhappiness and fear flowed through her. She shut her eyes, and collapsed.

She woke up with a start. Wondering what had happened, she looked at her clock. \'Three am.\' She laid her head down on her silk pillows and fell asleep, again.

The bell rung and she got up from the bench. She could see students hurry to their classes, but they didn\'t seem to be real, almost, ghost like. It didn\'t seem to bother her. She looked around; the halls were empty now. As she walked, her steps echoed.

She frequently looked behind her; a dark shadowy figure was following her. She came to a large brick wall. She turned around, dropped her books on the ground and stood there, paralyzed in fear. The shadowy hooded figure stood merely a foot away. She breathed heavily, trying to catch her breath she said, \'Who are you?\' But she could only see a slight grin grow upon this figure\'s face.

She was terrified, almost wanting to scream, but nothing came out of her mouth. The figure raised its hands to its hood. The girl cringed with fear but kept an eye open. The figure took off its hood. The girl stared into its eyes. Astonished with little to say, she stood there, staring, unable to move. The hooded figure stood there staring back and smiled. Her mouth opened to speak, but she could not. The hooded figure looked happy, as if it had accomplished what it wanted. The girl spoke softly in fear, \'You\'reYou\'re, me!\'
