A Cry For Love

I'm crying out for help-
I just want to be held.
Hold me tight and promise you won't leave.
Hold me close;
Don't let go.
Be there when I need you.

Love is nothing now
But disappointed dreams
Still I want love-
That warm feeling inside
That someone cares.

Cling to me
Like your last breath-
Tight enough that I could break.
Say that you love me
Even if you don't.

    I really liked the thoughts and feelings you expressed in the poem but the flow was a bit off and made it hard to settle into a rhythm while reading but overall a good poem well done xx ALLY xx

    This was alright. It wasn't fantastic but it was alright. But it just feels like words. That's all words. Try putting some emotion into so taht we could feel it.
