One SMALL secret

You know everything
except for one thing

something I've only just realized
I never thought it real before

I am never so reluctant
to let go this secret of mine

because I try to deny it
I don't want it to be true

I won't tell you no
at least not yet

you may not see it as such a big deal
but in my mind it's huge

I'm sorry that I am now keeping this from you
it's not something I plan to do long

but I feel that you must already know
