Endless Nightmare

by HungatMidnight   Mar 21, 2006

The wind whispers soft words as it goes by,
The stars shine with pride from the black velvet sky,
The mist rolls by, blown my the breeze,
Embraced in the darkness's beauty, I am free,
I walk slowly along the desolate street,
The essence of the night air smells so sweet,
The marks upon my skin remind me of the past,
Because of what you did to me I've had to grow up too fast,
To heal I've had to do some drastic things,
Yet, I haven't recovered fully,
You took what I most cherished,
After then my innocence perished,
Memories come knocking on my door,
Tears keep falling on the floor,
Why so cruel, why me?
Because of what you did I feel so empty,
As time goes by I close the blinds,
I leave the meaningless world behind,
I crawl into bed and drift off to sleep,
Into your endless nightmare I fall so deep.
