Gloomy days bring mourning

by *~Alex~*   Mar 21, 2006

There's a light here and there,
Look it straight in the eye,
Is it blinding you? Does it hurt?

I've seen this light to many times,
Always after a gloomy day,
Is it important? Do you care?

Grey clouds make my vision blur,
Like a heavy drink at night,
Is it splendid? Don't you see?

Drinking bottle after cup of liquid drug,
It's addicting, it's my escape.
Is it painful? Don't you try?

After watching me drown myself,
Every sip, every drink at a time,
Is it stupid? Do you lie?

Can you honestly say that I'm healthy?
That I'm alive and breathing?
Is it honest? Don't you cry?

That every time I drink to myself,
I see this light behind,
Aren't you listening? Can you catch me?

After gloomy days like this,
I'm clouded in the mist again,
Do you mourn for me? Do you try?
