Too Young, Too Frail, Too Strong

by Siamko   Mar 21, 2006

Tonight there lies a little girl,
Her eyes are wet, she's feelin' confused.
Sitting in her room, her parents yellin',
Her thoughts swirlin', her mind abused.
Too young for these problems,
Too frail to fight the attacks.
She's too strong, won't give up,
But she's worn thin, can't relax.
Above her red eyes, sits a furrowed brow,
She's determined to stand strong.
She clenches her fists, grits her teeth,
Won't let them make her face long.
Too young for these problems,
Too frail to fight the attacks.
She's too strong, won't give up,
But she's worn thin, can't relax.
She looks up at the sky and shouts,
"Why are people this way, Lord?"
"Why don't their hearts work right?"
The tears fall down as she runs from the horde.
Too young for these problems,
Too frail to fight the attacks.
She's too strong, won't give up,
But she's worn thin, can't relax.
There's no one to save her now,
She must fight alone, never give in.
They don't notice the pain in her eyes,
Cuz she smiles and pretends she's ok within.
