Love is like xstacy

As i look upon my world
where shattered pieces lay still
I gather up what i can save
and i throw it all away
I remember the hushed words
that were whispered in my ear
secret little nothings
that both of us had to share
My heart was already shambled
when you walked across the land
you said it was just to get to know me
and you gently smiled
with the innocence of a newborn
no meaning to cause me pain
or make me lose my self control
you simply took me under your wing
and loved me one and all
Now that you found out my secret
i was weak and did not fight to keep you
you walked out of my world
taking all i knew with you
leaving me in broken glass
everywhere i turn
pain in every step
how do i know that I'm moving on?
i don't know which way to go
