Lessons

by wings.in.flight.   Mar 21, 2006

Everytime I knew what I was looking for,
I was wrong.
Everytime I found happiness,
I pushed it away.
Now I sit from afar and I realize,
I've screwed up my life.
I don't learn from many mistakes.
But I learnt from that knife.

Not only once did it spin me out of control.
I spun twice.
Not only once did it teach me a lesson.
I was taught more than once.
Maybe one day I will learn,
But I know I won't listen,
For now it's my turn,
To learn this lesson again.
