Nature's Melody [Letting Go]

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Mar 21, 2006

The wind caresses my cheek,
As its soft voice echoes at my ear.
Trees dance with its slow rythmn,
As nature's melody sounds in the air.

Kneeling at the foot of her grave,
I stare at the name I've read many times before.
The tears I've cried have stained the stone,
The flowers I've placed have long dissapeared.

The sun blares at my back
As the truth finally dawns on me;
My tears have dried,
The sadness no longer resides inside.

Looking at her name carved in stone,
The weight has finally been lifted;
I have let go.

*not about me.
**another version of a sad yet happy poem.
