Remember What You Said

Do u remember the sweet things you said, or did you forget them when u threw me out?

Did you ever really love me or did you just feed me those lies, to get me in your bed or to get something out of it? Did you really think i was beautiful or did you just say that to make me confident in myself?

Did you believe in me to make it worse when you broke up with me, or had you planned it all along to use me and then get rid of me, pretending to love me forever when really you never loved me at all.

Did you plan to teach me a lesson, probably not but i learned it all the same, i am too naive believing in a happy after when they don't exist, and also that i am too mature looking for forever when i have my life ahead of me.

I am grateful for that lesson but i only regret that i learned it so harshly as if it was made to be a slap in the face.

I walk by you every day and i feel betrayed and hurt and i wonder do you remember what you said when you told me "I love you"!
