Darkened Chains

Where there is light
Darkness cries
Where there is laughter
Silence abides
Every corner turned
Another trail
Pushing us closer
Till pain prevails

Death before my eyes
Angels fail to save
Me from demons within
Trapped as a slave
Drowning in my own misery
lonliness proceeds
My heart bleeds in tears
Breaking it's beat

Killing my hollow soul
Slowly, without sound
Until I breath once more
Then chains go unbound
Finally I'm released away
From igonizing fears
Finally I can dream in peace
Hidden from nightmares.

    Wow, this poem was really sad :(
    "igonizing " is it supposed to be ag? Or is that just me...
    I like the last two lines and the contrast of dreams and nightmares that is displays
    Infact the last two lines of every stanza seemed to stand out
    WELL DONE :)
