And a sad love story

She was the girl that only wanted one chance and he was the guy that got to many chances
they both thought the same about each other but they never told the other
both of their hearts were broken cause they thought the other one didn't care but the truth is for each other they would always be there
he said he had her for life and all she wanted was to be his wife
he put her in pain but he never knew but the sad part is she did the same thing to him too
they didn't go out, he waited to long, they stopped talking so he thought she moved on
but in her heart she wanted him so bad but she thought that he was to good for her to have
they were both silence about what to say and it got worse and worse everyday
they both went through the same shit
he had an abusive farther and in life all she wanted was to be the perfect daughter
they loved each other but they never told a soul
they thought what would the difference make but that was their biggest mistake
weeks went by and they never said a word but in time their broken hearts got cured
he called her one night and they talked till the phone went dead
that night so many truthful words were said
he confessed his love to her but that left her in a blur
she loved him but it was hard to explain
because in the time they didn't talk things had changed
she had found a new guy and this was no lie
when the two lovers (that missed their chance ) saw each other in the hall
they held their new guy or girls hand, turned their heads as they passed each other like it didn't hurt
but they both know they will always have a life time of regret
and a love story they will never forget
