Ready to get ready

You've got me here
lost in thought
a familiar place i find myself this week
you consume my thoughts
& I'm afraid

every little thing
your smile--
i melt
you've got me here
wishing for you
and although
it may be too good to be true
the risks are threatening
& I'm afraid
to let go of the feelings I've had,
not for you.. but for him
although they weren't as strong as i imagined then,
much has faded but & yet
i find myself confused
over or not.. its all inside.. a tangles mess
it's a past feeling
which felt so real
it's hard to leave behind
and begin somewhere new
so faded or not
it once was real.. a reality
& despite all this
its clear and
i know this one things for sure
I'm ready to move on
to let go of what was
and finally open my eyes,
and for once not feel torn
I'm ready to get ready
as painful as it will be
I'll pull through
and together..
we can make it happen

and for some reason
you've got me here
wishing for you
i want to fall for you.. ohh' i do
