Tears of Love

Today I sat all alone
My thoughts of our goodbye
Again I felt all that hurt
River's falling from my eyes.
Tears of saddened memories
will they ever go away
Just once more to hold you
How I long for one more day.
To see you smile, to touch you
I want to give you all my love
The loneliness inside of me
How I miss you my beloved.
It was but for a moment
You took time for this love I know
For one very special moment
You sheltered this wilted rose.
Then I began to realize
True love will never die
And thank God for that moment
That brought tears falling from my eyes.
