The chain of thorns

by Nibi   Mar 22, 2006

You scream, you cry
surrounded by a chain of thorns
asphyxiating, constricted
twisting, turning, there is no way out
i hear you heavy breathing
trapped
you feel the burden of my pain
the pain you gave to me
the torment, the anger
bubbling inside
bursting to be let out
but no tears will i cry
Ive cried all i could
my eyes dry as bone
no tears, but blood shall fall tonight
your chain of thorns tightens
forcing you down
you look so small, pathetic
i tower over you, crouching, cowering
i am not afraid. its your turn now
all the pain you put me through
I'll do the same to you
you choke and you heart squeezes
bleeding, dying
slowly, drop by drop
the stream flows stringer then
draining
as i steal your life away
just like you stole mine
you lay as if asleep
and the force of my pain
comes crashing though
your cold, empty heart
and you fade away
the weight has been lifted
i am free
