Faith

Priests and Clergymen,
Speakers for God
Something is Wrong
Something is Odd

Hidden in polite society
they slither in piously
White collar stained
With Black Hypocrisy

Yet you preach to the congregation
Never knowing your secret damnation
All looking at you
in Deep Admiration

Roar and Yell
about who's goin' to hell
But I saw you at that Shady motel
I heard you say "shh don't tell"

Looking up to you
in your pulpit
Eager to become
your Altar boy Puppet

Big innocent eyes
never sensing
your Abyss
deep lies

Parents proclaim oh so loud
"Johnny we're so proud"
They can't know why you're
always looking down

Later when your behaviors change
they wring their hands
point and place Blame

TV, each other,
video games and school
but Father, they NEVER
point at You

The secrets you keep
how can you sleep
Even from confession, perk of your profession
and you promise them salvation

Having ultimate confidence
in your consummate holiness
They come to you
lambs to the slaughter

Hope you Drown in Holy Water

Damn that's cool! And it really happens, which is so gross! I like the cold tone, there's no passion, which can be very chilling. Well done, keep writing! 5/5
