Her

by jenny   Mar 23, 2006

Wipe your eyes
she told herself,
as her mascara continued to
draw line down her cheeks
Her questions are unanswered
Her answers are no where to be found.
Confused and misunderstood
She doesn't have to speak
Her eyes say it all.
Dreading every new day
Hating every morning
For her there isn't a fresh new start
Every day is the same
Happiness is a once in a while
privilege
She's scared of the world.
Stars are her way of wishing for things
she'll never get
Dreaming is her way of escaping
her reality.
Emotionally abused
but it's hidden in her smile.
Her life is unwanted,
unneeded,
misused.
She's nothing
she wants to be
She's nothing
at all.
