Rejection

Beneath these clothes
is my skin, pale and white
as your hands explore
you find every crevasse
as well as every fault
every god damn imperfection

you will see me exposed
open to your critical eye
examined, rated and graded
expectations are so high
how can i be flawless
i am only human

behind these disguises
there is a whole new me
unknown to the world
a side you might find
and despise with disgust

then the negatives will out weigh
the positives you once loved
i will be left discovered
then discarded and rejected
revealed to the cruel world
without you and your love

    I must admit that this is the best poem from ur whole collection that i hv gone thro so far...just my opinion.

    great selection of words. I m really stunned to see such low grades to it but u know what i hv been thro same too so dont u loose hope, atleast i'll surely try to be there to read ur posted poems.
