A Storm's Wrath

by Ozymandias   Mar 23, 2006

Violent ethereal winds rip past me,
A leviathan coming down from the unforgiving sky,
Dense fog veils my sight, eyes no longer able to see.
Rain pours harder, and thunder lets out its tremendous cry.
Running aimlessly through the night,
Protection from this tempest is what I seek.
A barrage of lightning causes me fright,
Thunder shrills again and my body becomes weak.
A test of strength from Gaea is what I guess it to be.
I begin to wonder when this relentless attack will cease.
Wading through mist, a figure not far ahead is what I see,
Courage begins to rise, though the fear has not decreased.
But the image of a house appears before me, and I know all is well.
I have found my way through the storms wrath, and have been given this story to tell.
