A Fallen Grace

by Laura-Emily   Mar 23, 2006

She sits all alone, she begins to cry
She prays to god, to stop all the lies
She hates her life, she wishes she were dead
Away form this life of hatred and regret

She stands on the edge, the edge of the bridge
Ready to fly, and ready to die
One step steady, one step more
One final drop, one final fall

Into the water, she's taken her life
Not with poison, and not with a knife
But with a liquid leaving her cold and alone
But why she did it shall never be known

This poor little angel, shall never see light
Never again will she battle or fight
Depression has won, overtaken he soul
But never again will she no longer feel whole

So together we cry for an angel so dear
For we know the truth, we no longer fear
No longer will we see he face
For she truly was a fallen grace
