Missing You

by meghan   Mar 23, 2006

You sent me roses the day you died
With a note saying
"Don't make this mistake, keep living even though you're without me"

Day of your funeral dressed in black
Walking by looking down
I couldn't remember a thing about you
Who you were
Or why I was here
All I could remember was losing you
Was my biggest fear

I cried at the fact that you were gone
Everyone said it would be alright
To hold myself up and
This is how you wanted it to be

Luckily for me I don't lay here crying anymore
Thinking About what once was
And how I know we'll meet again
When I find the same thing in someone
That I first found in you
