You protected me from the Pains of life

You said you would protecting me
from the hurts of life.
you stopped me from killing myself
with a knife,
You stood by me when
when things got tough,
you were gentle when others
were rough,
They always made me feel
like i didn't belong,
but you always told me to be strong,
You made me smile
on painful days,
by my side you always stayed,
you made me cheer up,
You opened your door when others were shut,
Mother didn't want me
and father was gone,
with out you i wouldn't have
have survived that long,
You fought for me when
push came to shove,
Then secretly we fell in love,
child hood Friends that stood by each others side,
you would wipe any
tears that i cried,
but i never got to tell you this because
of what happened next,
it was a curse like loves hex,
coming from school i got hit by a car,
and i was taken really far,
I didn't survive,
but your the only one that i
loved when i was alive,
i love you and thats deep from the heart,
Even if we were torn apart,
Thanks for your protection that helped me through the sorrow,
at least with you i got to see a new tomorrow.
