Life at fourteen, so much to see
So much un-done, at my parents
fee
Very hyperactive, still immature
Only thing bad: tomorrowâ??s future

Life at forty six, many things I\'ve done
Starting a family was number one
Now the kids are grown, off on their own
Looking forward to the unknown

I\'m busy seeking fun
Doing the un-done
Doing things wrong
But knowing I\'m gonna live long

As an adult, life is not easy
Tends to make your stomach queasy
More responsibilities, bigger
decisions
Life is not always what you envision

Not wanting to see
What the world holds for me
Trying to not worry
Trying to not hurry

Worrying about paying bills
With family it\'s a battle of wills
Hurrying to get chores done
Praying for free time to have some fun

School\'s such a drag
Adults always nag
Giving advice
Trying to be nice

Working a forty hour week
To earn the money I seek
Nagging at those I adore
Helping them to strive for more

So much growing up left to do
Some things I know, others not a clue
So I\'ll sit back, get ready
And take my life
steady

Growing up is in the past
Aging now very fast
Guess I\'ll sit back and relax
Start taking some exlax
