Don't say you love me,
then act like you've been.
Don't say your sorry,
then do it over again.
Don't say you care,
then go on and lie.
Don't say I matter,
then go off and get high.
Don't give me hope,
then throw me away.
Don't play with my heart,
for despair to display.
Love is rare,
and something I hunt.
So don't hold me,
like I'm something you want.
I want to be happy,
not confused.
I don't like this game your playing,
I'm not amused.
Don't say it's my fault,
when all I've done is care for you.
You need to get your life straight,
What do you want to do?
Do you want some one to care?
I'm right here.
Do you want some one to be with?
What do you fear?
Do you even know what love is?
Are you capable of loving?
You need to tell me the truth,
you need to make me believe.
Tell me what you want in life,
before I pack and leave.
