A love taken from me Part 2 The Drivers Story

The Drivers Story

if he would have only stopped to think
my love would probly still be here
but instead he desided to drink
and finish all of his beer

he was depressed
for his wife just left him
stole all his money
and left his wallet thin

he watched her leave his home
and get into her SUV
and all he could do was think
"oh how could you leave me"

drunk as ever
not the slightest bit clever

started up his car
and hit the gas
not caring for the speed limit
going a little to fast

he looked up at the dark black sky
he started hating himself
as a tear rolled down his eye
more tears formed themselves

now all that was going
through his head was suicide
he was so upset
he just wanted to die

but before he had a chance
he lost control
hit my love
and her life he stole

i ran over to her
and held her in my arm
he ran over and said
"i didnt mean any harm"

he had a drunken slurr
i lost it on him and shouted
how could you!? i loved her!

i could see blood coming from her head
it was so unbelievable
i couldnt believe she was dead

this man was just
standing there in fright
couldn't believe
this horrifying night

when the cops came
they cuffed him and took him away
he turned around
as if he had something to say

stared at me
and said im sorry

the judge sentenced him
to life without parole
because of the death created
by the car in which he lost control

Still to this day
i mourn for the love i lossed
and i still cant believe
the line this guy crossed

but this isnt the end of this story
we'll find out whos at fault
dont you worry
this story has only been put to a hault
