A Tear In God's Eye

They say that your last wish will be listened for sure,
last wish cries for a day with that person who can cure.
Cities, states, countries.. searched for him like a dog,
Hit a rock, fell down and understood that man was GOD.

Temple, church, mosque I went in search of him,
Ram, Jesus, Allah.. I couldn't find him.
Gita, Bible, Quran read them all,
Truth turned false, found everywhere fault.

Little angel then came and showed the light,
held me strong and breathed in new life.
Friendship & love are things that will set it right,
A wounded soul and wet eyes I had to wipe.

Happiness, laughter, health everything flourished,
every day, every hour the love within nourished.
Core believers in God & religion could not tolerate,
played their part, set new games and had love isolate.

Dreams crashed, heart broke and tears came down,
God cried but man laughed when his crown came down.
Religion, tradition and false status had a victory,
how happy was that man when he saw love in misery.

Every prayer then I prayed was asking for death,
My love was very happy seeing me take last breath.
Many more people joined in to pray for me to die,
God slowly whispered to me and asked to kill that lie.

God said - lift arms and kill that unjust,
No man has any right to break everyone's trust.
One who greets love with ill and still call it sacred,
Will never spread joy and will only preach hatred.
