Life

by Jacob Perry   Mar 24, 2006

This place we call home
this world full of hate
in this perilous place
we all go to waste

in this place filled with pain
this thing that is life
even the completely sane
have been burdened with strife

in this place filled with fools
the tools of our end
the order and structure
death the only final cure

in this place we call earth
evil is rivaled only by girth
while the tears of children fly
we all suffer, lay down, and die

as i watch this place of ours
my mind thinks while my mouth sours
what is this life that "god" has "gifted" us with?
a life so sad it makes some jump from a cliff?
a life that hardly is life at all,
if there is a god i am appalled.

This is a really good write. it all flows fluenty. You put it all together very well. I prefer your other writes, from what i have seen but this is by far still good. you have a natrual talent. great.
