Long time searching

I was searching for
something that cant be found
wandering round in circles
staring at only ground

Finding nothing at all
I decided to give in
confused by it all
my mind was in a spin

Sitting there in history
on that very last day
I found my Christmas gift
it was priceless no one had to pay

Laughing till my sides hurt
I had found a new friend
I would do it over again
time with him I'd love to spend

It was not then and there
that I realized I had fell
1 week and a half later
this is how I feel, and everyone can tell

Life has since been better
he has not run away
knowing that I like him
maybe he will stay
