Smiling gently, you take my hand
And press it against your heart
Saying with words i've never heard
"This is where my love starts."
You raise my head to look in your eyes

This is the heart that first loved you."
I smile more brightly
And my heart falls deeper in love
I press my head against your chest
And you wrap me in a hug

When the world becomes to cold,
I am the man that will honor you,
To always have and to hold.

From not just your worst fears

For i am the man you can lean on
And i am that only one
I have won the battle

I smile and say,
"I am the woman that needs you
Because you complete my soul
Life without you was half living
Now love has taken it's toll.
I am the woman whos hear is yours
And who will love you no matter what

He gets on one knee
And looks in my eyes
Hes amused to see
My gentle surprise.
He takes my hand
And says 3 words
Like a music to my ears
That i've never heard
"I love you"
