I Can Wait

by Unknown2Thyself   Mar 25, 2006

I've fallen head over heels for you,
and you don't seem to have a clue.
Giving me hope that you'll soon come around,
Yet your taking so long that I die a little everyday.

I'd catch stars for you in my star net,
but it might take awhile for it has a huge hole in it.
I'd slay dragons for you with my word,
but it might be a little rusty along with me.

I can't remember ever feeling like this with anyone else.
When the phone rings I jump out of my skin hoping it's you.
When I know I'm hanging with you, I dress my best.
When I don't see or hear from you for awhile I feel blue.

I feel like I could run a thousand miles,
swim through a sea full of sharks,
face the greatest dangers,
as long as I have you in my life.

I've fallen for you in every way possible,
and I'm hoping soon you'll get the clue.
For now I'll write what I feel about you,
Maybe one day I might be able to tell you to your face.
