Sitting Right Beside You

by Destiny   Mar 25, 2006

When my hope is up and my dreams are high
It only takes a second for them to say good-bye
When you're with me, I have the world at my feet
When I realize you don't want me, you're a wish that I just have to keep
You're like a shooting star, in a second you're gone
You're a wish that I have and I've had all along
When I'm in my world of dreams and hops reality takes it away and sets in
My heart sinks and my head bows, my hopes just give in
I am what I am, that's all I can be
I can't make a difference, I can't change what you see
I wish I was famous, I wish I was pretty
Maybe then, you'd except me for me
I try hard to be what you want
I try hard to never get lost
I need you so bad, it hurts
Everyone says it could always be worse
Nothings worse
Than sitting right beside you,
Knowing I can't have you
Sitting right beside you,
Knowing I'm not supposed to want you
Knowing you'd never want me
Nothings worse than walking around this place
Seeing everyone has someone to plant kisses on their face
There's kisses & hugs as far as I can see,
There's laughter & love as far as I can see,
Everyone seems to have that certain someone,
But no one seems to be with me
