I find myself feeling alone,
because they are so far away.
the place im at is home,
but i feel like i can't stay.
popular in the crowd,
such a loner within.
so many unknowns not allowed,
and my life cant begin.
if i get out of here ill sure miss this place,
nothing to do and so much to introspect.
i desperately need a change of pace,
a friend or two to give thoughts and collect.
i breathe and exhale the evidence shows im alive,
but the dark hole within likes to prove otherwise.
for i may smile and laugh and cry,
but this hole will always keep me dead inside.
