The child that you dont care about

by Jessica   Mar 25, 2006

I am your child,
I am the one lonely locked in her room,
the one hidden from all other life forms,
The child you are disappointed to see as i come forth from thy chamber in darkness,
You question why i am not like all others, I slowly respond...

"I wish not to be like others,
I feel powerful and brave when i dress in dark colors,
I feel scary to scare away my enemies,
I love to stand out.....
I want to show people that there are some sad people in this miserable world,
and i am one of them
I hide my disease, called depression
Which is when i teens mind and heart becomes dark and cold, when all they do i cry bloody tears..."

Her Mother responds..
"Why have you not spoke of this sooner??"

She Quickly responds..
"Like You Would Care"
